Dear Incoming 6th Grade Families,
Happy Friday! Yesterday Kelly and I visited Dale Street and met with the incoming 6th grade students to share information about Blake and the sixth grade experience. Please see information below that I hope will be helpful for you and your students.
To help begin to acclimate to Blake and stay apprised of our culture and community, I will begin sharing the weekly Blake Updates that are sent via Parent Square to the current Blake families. I also encourage you to check out my blog (Blake Principal's Blog) that I update each week. In addition, you can follow our school Instagram account (@helloblakers) and me (@nat.vaughn), as we are using these accounts as communication and resource tools for the Blake community - sharing up-to-date information, Blake happenings, links to sites, and 'shares' on a daily or more frequent basis.

Hale Reservation Field Trip - 9/16-9/18 |
Grade 6 will be taking a field trip to Hale Reservation this September! Hale Education of Westwood, MA provides educational programs on their campus of 1,000+ acres of land. Students will experience 3 day-trips full of outdoor education and community building activities!
** Permission slips and money will be collected at the outset of the 2026-2027 school year.
