FROM THE MCPE

Tickets to the 2022 Fall Ball are now available! The Fall Ball happens every two years and is MCPE’s biggest fundraiser. All proceeds from the event will support grants made to teachers and administrators at all five Medfield Public Schools. Be sure to get your tickets!

Did you know that MCPE is a nonprofit organization that supports the entire Pre-K-12 public school system in Medfield? We raise money through community events, corporate sponsorships, and special campaigns. The generosity of the Medfield community enables MCPE to provide monetary support for all schools through grants for specific projects and initiatives that support the development of innovative programs, curriculum, and enrichment that would otherwise be outside the parameters of the school budget. Here are some fun examples of recent MCPE-funded projects that Medfield kids are benefitting from right now!

  • Science & Engineering Visiting Science Unit at Dale Street School, providing five hands-on engineering lessons from visiting scientists for grade 5 students
  • Modernizing the LMC/Makerspace Learning Spaces at Blake Middle School, including purchase of a GlowForge 3D Printer and space-appropriate furniture
  • Funding for Numicon kits for each Kindergarten and grade 1 classroom, allowing our youngest learners to build a developmentally appropriate conceptual understanding of numbers
