2025-2026 MPS District Calendar

Helpful Information:


MAIN OFFICE SUMMER HOURS:
Normal office hours through Monday, June 30, 2025.

Typically Monday-Thursday 8am-1pm in July and 8am-1pm Monday through Friday in August until Regular office hours resume on Monday, August 18, 2025.

Due to staff vacation plans, please call 508-359-4367 to check in before you arrive to be sure someone is available to assist you.

WORK PERMITS:
During the summer please call 508-359-4367 to confirm staff is available at the high school to process your work permit application. Instructions/Forms can be found HERE and all paperwork must be completed before your permit can be issued.

Work permits are also issued at the Superintendent’s Office (3rd Floor at the Town Hall) - appointments are required. Please call 508-906-3031 to schedule your appointment.

TRANSCRIPTS:
Please complete the transcript request form found HERE.

SCHOOL COUNSELING DEPARTMENT SUMMER HOURS:
The last day the school counselors will be in the Counseling Office this year will be Wednesday, June 18th. The Counseling Office is open through June 30th, as the Administrative Assistant will be available for work permits, transcript requests, and other general questions.

The School Counseling Office will reopen on Monday, August 18th. 

Student schedules will be posted on Aspen on Wednesday, August 20th, after 2:00pm. Please know that the School Counseling Office will be open on Thursday, August 21st, from 4:00-7:00pm to address any scheduling questions or concerns.


ATTENTION CLASS OF 2026: ACTION NEEDED!

Hey Class of 2026! It’s time to get ready for your first official event as SENIORS:
SENIOR CRUISE!

The event will take place on Thursday, August 28th and students must ride the coach buses to the event. Buses leave the high school at 5:00pm and return by 10:45pm

Tickets are available to purchase via this link or the QR code on this post. If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact your school counselor or Mrs. Hagan.

Please purchase tickets before August 1 if you want to attend the event. Purchase them before summer starts to get ahead—before you forget!

On behalf of the All Night Grad Party Committee, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s celebration such a huge success!

From the Seniors we spoke to, it was clear they had an absolute blast—eight straight hours of fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories to cap off their Medfield School years.

As the saying goes, it takes a village—and this event is living proof. Your time, creativity, and generosity helped give the Class of 2025 a night they’ll remember forever.

  • Kelly Scobbo & Nicole Drummond – for organizing amazing entertainment

  • Kelly Wysocki – for keeping everyone well-fed with delicious food

  • Karen Vazquez – for leading our incredible volunteer crew

  • Debra Garverich – for expertly managing the finances

  • Patty Borteck – for running the set-up and clear-up operations

  • Dana Ravech – for years of finding and leading decorating groups

  • Siobhan Dennehy – for ensuring everything was cleared up smoothly

Each of these leaders was supported by many dedicated volunteers—we wish we could name every one of you. Please know how truly grateful we are for all that you gave.

  • To our Custodians, for their patience and hard work before, during, and after the event

  • To the School Administration, for their support behind the scenes

  • To Neal Sonnenberg, for his invaluable IT expertise

  • To the Police and EMTs, for keeping everyone safe throughout the night

  • To every volunteer who gave up a night of sleep to care for our seniors

  • To all the senior parents, guardians, and community members—thank you for your incredible generosity, which made it possible for this event to be ticketless and inclusive for every senior

Finally, congratulations to the Class of 2025! Please pass along our best wishes—we’re cheering you on as you head into your next chapter.

MCPE thanks you, the wonderful families of Medfield Public Schools, for your contributions and support towards an impactful and fun school year! MCPE was thrilled to have granted approximately $75,000 across all five schools this year, including the spring cycle in which we were able to award eight grants totalling over $42,300 thanks to all of your support! SUMMER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Are you interested in helping escort Thomas Upham House wheelchair residents so they can enjoy the MEMO Concerts on Thursday evenings this summer?

The Thomas Upham House is looking for volunteers to do just that!

If you are interested and able to help escort some of their residents in wheelchairs to and from the outdoor MEMO concerts at the Gazebo next to the Medfield Public Library, please reach out to llanger@rehabma.net or call 508-359-6050. Depart the Thomas Upham House around 5:30pm and return just after 7:00.

This is a family-friendly service opportunity, great for teens and adults. Nice conversation with some Medfield seniors to and from a wonderful outdoor concert.
