R.I.S.E. TRANSITION PROGRAM

RISE (Resilience in Student Efficacy) is a general education program overseen by the Director of Social and Emotional Learning, Dr. David Worthley. The program also maintains a licensed teacher who serves as the Academic Coordinator. RISE is designed to support students as they transition back to their mainstream educational setting after a significant absence, be it medical, emotional or other. This process is managed by RISE staff and student services, in conjunction with faculty and administration, and to ensure an academically and emotionally supportive transition. RISE also works closely with our student services departments to offer proactive support/resources to students and families.

FROM MEDFIELD OUTREACH

FROM SEPAC

Medfield Special Education Parents Advisory Council (SEPAC) is run by a group of parent and caregiver volunteers who work for the understanding of, respect for, and support of all children with special needs in the community.

This year, in response to survey feedback, we are offering Parent Connection Groups; a SEPAC Parent coordinates each and will focus on a different diagnosis (Down Syndrome, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Autism Spectrum). These groups will connect parents and caregivers of children with the specific diagnosis to share experiences and resources. If you are interested in joining a group, please email sepac@email.medfield.net for more information. If you haven't taken our survey yet, there is no time like the present. Access the survey HERE.

Check out our website, Facebook, and Instagram social media pages. We share area events and more!

The fall season is in full swing! If you haven't taken a second yet to pre-order a yearbook copy now while supplies last, please do so ASAP. Luckily, the price has been frozen at $95 for the rest of this school year, which is a good deal since the final price has long been $100. Here is the ordering link: https://jostensyearbooks.com/?REF=A01095588. If you have any questions, please read through this FAQs doc for more information. Thanks!

FROM THE ALL NIGHT GRAD PARTY

Please PAY IT FORWARD

Every year the graduating class experiences the party of all parties in a very SAFE environment. The only way the kids (who do say it’s one of the most memorable ’school’ events they have ever experienced) can enjoy this is from the amazing generous time from volunteers pulling it all together. Many hands make light work - and fun ‘work’ too!!

Join our committee with friends or even to make new like-minded friends whose mission is to create FUN.

Please consider helping out this year - in ANY capacity.

Underclassmen parents can be part of the planning ready for new parents to take over the reins by the time your kids are in Senior Year. Senior parents can of course help out too, but not the night of however.

Let's create fun together…
Reach out today to find out how you can help.
