Report cards will be issued later this week for Term 3

Please email: aspenhelp@email.medfield.net if you need assistance accessing your Aspen account.

ELIGIBILITY:

All students who participate in extracurricular activities (athletics, drama, all clubs, student government, and student organizations) are subject to the following eligibility standards:

  1. Students must pass six of the seven courses in which they are enrolled.

  2. Eligibility is based on the marks from the previous term, with the exception of the fall when eligibility is based on the final course grades from the previous year.

  3. Ineligibility takes effect the day report cards are issued, unless a waiver has been granted by the principal.

If  ineligibility status is due to incomplete grades, students may become eligible as soon as pending incompletes are resolved.

Students who are ineligible may continue to attend practices and rehearsals, but may not compete in games or participate in performances or other competitions.

FROM THE ART DEPARTMENT

The AP Studio Art Exhibit features selected works from each AP artist’s individual portfolio. Students in the AP Studio Art class thoughtfully curated display panels to reflect their unique artistic voice. Students submit their AP portfolios for review in early May & are assessed on concept, skill & articulation of a coherent body of artwork.

FROM THE MODEL UN CLUB

On April 27th, former United Nations member Farid Elassi will be coming to MHS! He will expand on his time in the UN, his journey to become a member, and answer any questions! All students are welcome to attend, and this would be a great opportunity for anyone who’s interested in learning more about the UN, or wants to build connections! The event will take place in room 118 and run from roughly 2:15-3:00. We hope to see you there!

FROM THE MCPE

Let's give the auditorium a new speaker system!

Have you been spotting all those blue mailbox ribbons around town and wondering how to get yours? There’s still time to make a gift to the MCPE 35th Anniversary Appeal! Through the 35th Anniversary Appeal, MCPE is raising community support to fund one ambitious project at each of the five Medfield schools that will make a real difference in our students' educational experience. Every Medfield residence that makes a charitable contribution to the 35th Anniversary Appeal will receive a blue ribbon placed on their mailbox, showcasing support for Medfield Public Schools and proudly helping us paint the town blue!

MEDFIELD HIGH SCHOOL is seeking funding for a new speaker system for the auditorium that will complete the upgrade of the stage and sound system that has been purchased over time. This upgraded sound system in the auditorium will support our music and theater programs and allow greater flexibility and creativity in how these productions are developed by students. Students will be able to produce a sound that is richer and better suited for the size of the auditorium space.

Your donation today will support this project and the projects at the other four Medfield schools. Click here to learn more and donate today!

Now is a great time to pre-order the 2023 yearbook! Please act fast to ensure you get a copy before they sell out (as they did last year)! Just click on this LINK. Thanks for your interest and support!
