Please take note of these important dates and opportunities for engagement with our schools:
Panorama Survey- Survey extended to January 21st at 5:00 PM. Please take a few minutes to complete this important survey. Another link from Panorama Education was sent this morning. The survey information will help inform our future programming and strategic plan. Thank you to the 540 parents/guardians that have already responded.
FY24 Budget Public Hearing- The Medfield School Committee will host a public hearing on January 26th at 7:00 PM in the Lowell Mason Auditorium at Medfield High School. There will be a presentation of the FY24 Budget and an opportunity to ask questions. Budget materials will be posted on our website throughout the entire process.
Superintendent's Advisory/Coffee- The next Advisory/Coffee will take place on January 31st at 9:30 AM in Blake Middle School Library. We will discuss several topics including the FY24 Budget, the status of the elementary school project, and our upcoming strategic plan initiative. All current Medfield Public Schools parents/guardians are welcome!
English Language Arts Program Evaluation Parent/Guardian Forum- Recent changes to the guidance for literacy instruction have prompted us to conduct a PreK-12 evaluation of our ELA programming. Dr. Catherine Shade has already conducted numerous staff interviews and classroom observations as components of this review. Dr. Shade will hold a forum on January 31st at 7:00 PM in the Medfield High School Library to gain our parents'/guardians' perspectives on literacy instruction in Medfield.
