Good Morning,
It seems like a good time to send out some clarifications about how to report your child absent and how to communicate an early dismissal. We are feeling like everything is well underway and hope that this information is helpful.
- If you need to dismiss your child early on an in-person OR ON A REMOTE WEDNESDAY OR REMOTE COHORT DAY, including if they need to miss REMOTE GO BLOCK, please email us at blakeearlydismissal@email.medfield.net .
- Please be sure to report your child's absence from in-person or REMOTE days of school, including REMOTE WEDNESDAYS, or GoBlock on a REMOTE COHORT DAY. You may do this by calling the main office number at 508-359-2396 and choosing option 1 for the absence line. An adult must report this information-- students may not excuse themselves by emailing teachers to let them know that they will be out. It is very good self-advocacy for students to contact teachers when they are out, but an adult still must report the absence to the main office.
