Memorial School Site Council
Each school building has a School Council that serves as an advisory board to the principal. The Council consists of parents, school personnel, and a community member for the purposes of advising the building principal on various issues such as the school practices and procedures. It also assists with the conception of the School Improvement Plan. Members of the Council are elected to the board by members of the school community in September.
Meetings are held on a regular basis and are conducted under the Open Meeting Law, accordingly, any member of the school's community may attend meetings. The dates of the meetings are posted below.
Site Council Meetings
The Memorial Site Council meets on scheduled Mondays a 2:00 p.m. in the Memorial LMC. The dates for this year are:
- October 7, 2019
- January 13, 2020
- March 9, 2020
- May 11, 2020
