On November 4th, Memorial and Wheelock Elementary Schools hosted a parent information night focused on literacy!

During the evening, parents learned about the instructional approaches and assessment techniques that we use to help all children become successful readers, writers and thinkers!  Much of the evening was focused on the importance of the connection between home and school.  Helpful hints for supporting your child’s literacy development at home were shared by the K-5 Literacy and Social Studies Curriculum Coordinator, the K-3 Reading Specialist Team, Memorial School's Librarian, and Memorial School's Learning Specialist.  Follow the link below to view a copy of the PowerPoint Presentation that was shared.  We hope you find this information helpful!
