In a time-starved world where student schedules can be absorbed by classroom demands, pleasure reading sometimes gets pushed into a corner. As part of national Read Across America campaign to promote pleasure reading, Medfield High School is sponsoring a week-long program by transforming the library into a bookstore atmosphere.

Barnes & Noble and other bookstores have made book browsing more pleasurable by allowing adults to browse books with coffee in hand.  We want to give kids the same experience and to let them know that reading can be a fun and relaxing activity.
